Getty & Associates, P.C., was founded by Frederick J. Getty in 1997.  Our attorneys bring in excess of 40 years of combined legal experience and are licensed to practice in the state of Virginia.  We are located in Central Virginia and primarily serve clients in Orange County as well as the surrounding counties of Culpeper, Spotsylvania, Fredericksburg, Louisa, Madison and Stafford.

Frederick J. Getty

FREDERICK J. GETTY was born in Queens, New York and graduated from St. Anthony’s High School in 1984.  After moving to Virginia, he graduated from James Madison University in 1990 and received a B.S. (History & Political Science).  He earned his Juris Doctorate in 1994 from the District of Columbia School of Law. He has been practicing law since 1994 and has had extensive trial experience, serving the entire Commonwealth of Virginia with a concentrated local practice in Orange, Culpeper, Spotsylvania, Louisa, and the other surrounding counties.

Brian A. Choisser

BRIAN A. CHOISSER was born in Dallas, Texas and moved to Virginia in 2003 for law school.  He received his B.A. (Business & Communications) in 2003 from Trinity University and his Juris Doctorate in 2006 from the University of Richmond School of Law.
